Ex-QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Bassist Undergoes Surgery For 'Very Large Hernia'
August 19, 2004Former QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and current MONDO GENERATOR bassist Nick Oliveri has posted the following message on MONDO's web site:
"I've just been discharged from the hospital where I had surgery on a very large hernia. The doctor said I've had it for a very long time. I didn't know until recently when part of my intestines started poking through from my taint to my belly button. I want you to know that I am still coming over to Europe … to do this tour! We are doing it as a power trio: Marc Diamond on guitar, Josh 'Headly' Lamar on drums and yes, I'm back on bass and or course vocal duties."
